Our Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) helps women grow as disciples of Christ through prayer, learning, giving, and hands-on service. Rooted in God’s Word and guided by the Holy Spirit, WMU seeks to share Christ’s love both within our church and throughout our community.
Through WMU, Pleasant View supports local ministries including Springs of Life Camp, Recovery Ministry, Martinsville Pregnancy Care Center, Hope Ministries, and the Martinsville Warming Center. We also participate in missions beyond our community through Operation Christmas Child and the Lottie Moon and Alma Hunt offerings.
WMU’s ministry extends to college outreach, visiting and caring for shut-in members, and monthly service projects as God opens doors and leads the way.
Come join the WMU on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:45 PM.
